A fast-growing native shrub well-suited to South East Queensland’s conditions, Cardwell Tea Tree produces masses of small white flowers that attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. Its dense, fine foliage makes it an excellent option for hedging, screening, or windbreaks, particularly in exposed or coastal locations. Adapted to dry conditions, it is highly drought-tolerant and thrives in sandy, well-drained soils. Its strong root system also helps stabilise slopes, making it valuable for erosion control in bushland restoration and revegetation projects.
