Habitat:

Native to tropical regions of Queensland, Australia, particularly around the Cardwell area. It grows in well-drained soils in coastal regions, open forests, and along waterways.

Leaf information:

Fine, green, needle-like leaves that are aromatic when crushed

Preferred Soil:

Prefers slightly dry to moist conditions with well-drained soils however will tolerate a range of moisture levels

It has beautiful, small white flowers that bloom profusely, creating a striking contrast against its fine green foliage. This hardy and adaptable plant is ideal for hedging, screening, and wildlife gardens, while its drought-tolerant nature makes it easy to care for.

Care Considerations:

Low to moderate watering and is drought-tolerant once established. Organic mulch is beneficial for moisture retention and weed control. Fertilisation is rarely needed, though a light feed with a native plant fertiliser can promote healthier growth. Prune lightly after flowering to maintain a compact shape and encourage more blooms.
