Its other parent species Gevillea willisii is native to the alpine and subalpine regions of Victoria.

A prostrate, spreading ground cover known for its vigorous growth and attractive features. This cultivar is renowned for its dense, toothed leaves and new growth that displays a beautiful coppery red color. It is particularly praised for its extensive coverage and ability to quickly cover large areas, making it fantastic for stabilising banks and slopes. From winter to late spring, it produces striking magenta flowers with bright pink styles, which are not only visually appealing but also attract a variety of wildlife, including birds and bees.

Care Considerations:

This plant is drought-tolerant once established and requires minimal maintenance. However, occasional pruning can help maintain its spread and promote denser growth. Note – some grevilleas can cause skin irritation to some people. If you are affected wear protective clothing when handling grevilleas.
