With its fruits rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals it has a distinctive, sour taste, excellent for jams, sauces, and desserts.
Care Considerations: | Being a tropical plant mulching with help to retain soil moisture and suppress weeds. Little to no pruning is necessary unless to remove dead or damaged limbs. Will benefit from protection against strong winds and frost. The plum like fruit is coated in fine golden hairs which should be handled with care to prevent itching. |
