Tall Sedge is admired for its dense, tufted foliage and attractive, upright growth habit. This hardy, low-maintenance plant is ideal for wetland areas including waterlogged areas, water gardens, and can be used for erosion control, providing excellent habitat and supporting local wildlife.
Care Considerations: | Requires regular watering, thrives in consistently moist or wet conditions. Apply organic mulch to retain soil moisture and suppress weeds. Minimal fertilisation required, a light feeding with a balanced fertiliser during the growing season can be beneficial. Cut back old foliage in late winter to encourage new growth. |
